Peas Alexandra

Peas Alexandra is an early variety well-loved for its sweet, green peas. Each pod contains approximately 10 peas and the plants grow to a medium height of around 60 cm, making them self-supporting and easy to manage without additional supports.

These peas are perfect for fresh consumption or freezing, allowing you to enjoy their delightful taste even in the colder months. It's essential to pick the pods when they are young and tender, as they are most delicious before they grow too large. The pods typically mature 12 days after first appearing.

For optimal growth, sow the seeds in a sunny location with well-cultivated, loamy or sandy soil that is rich in humus and permeable to water and air. Make sure to keep the planting bed free of weeds, and provide sufficient watering to ensure a long cropping season.
